Fire and Explosion Investigator

Steven Booth began his career as an investigator over 30 years ago as a law enforcement officer for the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. During his time with the Sheriff’s Office, he conducted undercover narcotics operations and investigated property and major personal crimes. In 1997 he began investigating fires for the Cumberland County Arson Task Force where he achieved the rank of sergeant. Steven has now been a fire investigator in the private industry for over 23 years, including working with a major insurance carrier investigating questionable claims, as well as investigating the origin and cause of fires. His career has included investigating fires involving vehicles, heavy equipment, marine vessels, single-family and multi-family structures, and large complex commercial fires. When Steven has free time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time woodworking.
