Bob Miner’s career in the fire service began in 1983 with the Virginia Beach Fire Department, where he served ten years as a Fire Investigator before beginning a career in the private sector, first as an SIU Supervisor for Virginia Farm Bureau. He has been responsible for numerous origin and cause investigations, where he assisted federal, state, and local law enforcement in criminal arson investigations. Bob served as the Virginia Chapter President of the International Association of Arson Investigators and was appointed to the Virginia Fire Services Board representing the VAIAAI and all fire investigators by Governor Robert McDonald. Bob is known for his commitment to seeking the truth and fully understands the importance of clear and concise reporting and data collection. Bob has used his education, experience, and knowledge in the fire investigation industry to successfully provide his clients with thorough investigations and answers to fire and explosion origin and causation.
Bob also has extensive knowledge of working heavy equipment in the mining, forestry, and farm industries.
