SAFE Labs operates a state-of-the-art 1,600 sq. ft. shielded outdoor burn test facility, designed to conduct large-scale custom burn tests under controlled conditions. This facility enables SAFE Labs to simulate a wide range of fire scenarios with precision, providing invaluable data for forensic investigations, fire safety research, and the development of fire prevention strategies.
This advanced facility is equipped with a 12 ft. x 12 ft. stainless steel flume hood to capture emissions and particulates generated during the burn tests, ensuring a safe and controlled testing environment. The scrubbers included in the system play a critical role in cleaning and filtering exhaust gases, significantly reducing release of harmful pollutants into the atmosphere. Additionally, frack tanks are used to contain and manage any runoff or waste fluids generated during the testing process, further minimizing environmental impact.
